The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple is a Buddhist temple and museum in Chinatown in central Singapore. This is one of the most photographed places in Singapore and this vantage point is very popular. This is taken from the 7th floor of the nearby HDB building.
This photo is of The Interlace, a condominium in Singapore with some uniquely interesting architecture.I took this shot from a vantage point at Alexandra Central mall's car park (many thanks to Darren Soh who posted the tip on his Facebook page). It was the perfect environment to set up the shot: the car park was empty so I wasn't disturbed, there was a ledge where I could rest my tripod and gear, and it was sheltered from the heat. I could literally have stayed there all day if I wanted to. As it happens though, I was happy with the first shot I took so I left again relatively quickly!
This was taken during a recent (short) trip to London. I took the bus out to the tower bridge hoping to get some good photos of the bridge at night. The bridge shots didn't turn out very well, but I thought this scene would make a good HDR.
The Turning Torso is a residential skyscraper in Malmö, Sweden. It towers 190m high and was completed in 2005.This photo is a 263s long exposure with a stacked 10-stop and 6-stop ND filter. The weather was sunny but bearable - taking this kind of photo in Singapore in the daytime is tough!
The Star building in Buona Vista, Singapore. This imposing structure amazed me when I saw it for the first time. Looking up at it from the ground, you really feel its presence.
